PebbleNibble: Aquascape Log was built on a simple premise: your aquarium journal, your water chemistry readings, and your photos belong to you alone. This policy explains, in plain terms, why we have almost nothing to say about "your data" — because we never receive it in the first place. The app performs every calculation, stores every log, and renders every photo timeline directly on your device, with no account, no server, and no hidden pipeline to the outside world.

1. 1. Information We Collect PebbleNibble does not collect any personal information, usage statistics, device identifiers, or diagnostic data. There is no sign-up, no login, and no form asking for your name or email inside the app itself. Whatever you type into a water-parameter field or write in a journal entry is never transmitted to us.
2. 2. How We Use Information Because nothing is collected, nothing is analyzed, aggregated, profiled, or sold. We do not build usage patterns from your dosing history, your tank photos, or your plant catalog, and we never share information with advertisers or data brokers — there is simply no dataset to share.
3. 3. Data Storage All tank records — pH and KH readings, substrate calculations, fertilizer schedules, growth timeline photos, and livestock notes — are stored locally in the app's private storage space on your phone or tablet. Nothing is mirrored to a cloud service, and we do not operate servers that hold copies of your aquascape data.
4. 4. Third-Party Services PebbleNibble does not embed analytics kits, advertising networks, or third-party trackers. No software development kit inside the app phones home with behavioral data, and no crash-reporting service receives your journal content.
5. 5. Data Security Since your information never leaves your device, it is protected by the same security measures your operating system already applies to locally stored app data. Uninstalling the app, resetting your device, or clearing app storage removes the data completely — there is no remote copy left behind anywhere.
6. 6. Children's Privacy PebbleNibble does not knowingly or unknowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. Because the app has no data-collection mechanism at all, it poses no data-privacy risk to younger hobbyists who might use it to log a classroom or family aquarium.
7. 7. Your Control You are always in full control of your aquascape records. There are no accounts to manage and no remote records to request deletion of. Clearing the app's data or deleting the app from your device permanently erases every log, photo, and calculation stored within it.
8. 8. Changes to This Policy If our practices ever change — for example, if a future optional feature were to introduce data transmission — we will update this policy and revise the effective date above so you can review what changed before continuing to use the app.
